Subject: Invitation to Participate in the Duncanville Candidates’ Forum on Arts, Culture, and the Economy

I invite you to participate in the Duncanville Candidates’ Forum on Arts, Culture, and the Economy, an inaugural, nonpartisan event providing a platform for City Council candidates to share their perspectives on the role of arts, culture, and the creative economy in Duncanville’s future.

Through the establishment of the Arts Commission, the Duncanville Arts Fund, and the Armstrong Park Cultural District, the City of Duncanville has demonstrated its commitment to the arts as a driver of community and economic growth. As the election cycle begins, it is essential for voters to understand where City Council candidates stand on the future of Duncanville’s arts sector.

The forum will take place on April 17, 2025, at 6:30 PM (location to be announced). The event will feature a moderated discussion and audience Q&A, offering a valuable opportunity for candidates to outline their positions on arts-related policies, cultural investment, and economic development.

As the organizer, my goal is to facilitate a fair, issue-focused discussion that allows voters to make informed decisions. All candidates for City Council are encouraged to attend.

To confirm your participation, please RSVP by April 1, 2025, using the contact page. If you have any questions or need additional details, feel free to reach out.

I look forward to your response and hope you will join this important conversation.
