Summer 2025 Arts Leadership Lab

This summer, a cohort of creative entrepreneurs will gain the tools and support they need to build arts-based businesses that revitalize Downtown Duncanville. This intensive 6–8 week leadership lab blends civic knowledge, business development, and creative placemaking.

Key Objectives:

• Demystify permits, policy, and public processes

• Teach creative entrepreneurship fundamentals

• Spark innovation through pop-ups and pilot projects

• Activate cultural partnerships and funding channels

Outcomes:

• 10–15 trained creative leaders

• 10+ launch-ready business or activation concepts

• Increased use of downtown spaces for art and culture

• Stronger ties between the creative sector and local policy
